I will pass, on this, you either accept your Saviour or you don't, what in the world would Bill Maher be able to tell us about God? he doesn't seem to believe.
Anyone have a favorite scene from this movie?

I haven't seen in it a while, but one of the more memorable is when he's out in the street (in NY I think) screaming about Scientology like one of those genuine nuts.  People were buying it :P I though that was pretty funny.  The other part was where he went into that trucking chapel and the guy got all pissed because Bill asked a couple questions.

I like the part where he was interviewing Mark Pryor , a senator from Arkansas. He asked if he really thought things began with Adam and Eve and a talking snake. When Pryor said "maybe" Maher said it was worrisome that someone running the country could believe in such a thing.
The senators response was " You don't have to pass an IQ test to be in the senate."

I got a kick out of the part where the guy in the suit and tie was speaking about god and then suddenly started speaking gibberish as if he was speaking in some foreign tongue. It still bugs me that people were/still are falling for that stuff.

I also enjoyed the Senator part...but I kind of feel bad for him since Bill put him in a corner. If he says he does believe it, he loses a lot of points for buying into a myth and rational people will get worried. On the other hand if he says he does not, I would imagine the majority of christians would not vote for him which is obviously a huge percentage. Tough break!

And the guy who said he was part of Jesus' lineage. What a nutjob. And that other guy who was super rich and sported fantastic clothing...the way Bill ratted him out was fantastic.

This film has a lot of great parts. Hard to say which one was the best.

The part outside the Vatican was funny as well.  Although I'm not really sure that guy was a legitimate church official.

I've seen many internet blogs of people who do just this. I wouldn't mind doing it myself!

My husband and I went there last summer!  :)

Here are some pictures:

1) Adam and Eve.  Giggity!
2) Note the dinosaurs getting on the Ark.
3) The museum had many diagrams like this, interestingly.
4) A lovely billboard we passed on the highway.  This is Kentucky after all, people!

I know I'm reviving an old topic. I just had to say that sadly the Hell is Real billboard is for a church in my town.

i have been taught that what goes in my eyes and ears goes to my mind , what goes to my mind then goes to my heart , what goes to my heart then comes out in my mouth and im my actions ..... as a believer in christ , those with an ear will hear .
