I was at a school observing a first-grade reading class. I knew of the attacks before I arrived at the school, but said nothing to the teacher until later. I remember thinking, "If the maniacs who did this awful thing had had a good teacher like this to show them how to get along with others, these attacks would not have happened."

I was working at a small local airport. We were under lock down for a few hours then sent home. Came home and watched the news all day.

I was in the 8th grade on 9-11-01.  Because the shool that i went to was a k-8 school the teachers were told that we were not allowed to watch the footage from it because they were afraid it would scare all the younger kids. i just remember it being a very long and sad day :(

I was a junior in highschool, sitting in my 2nd hour art class... I just remember thinking that it was a dream. Everything seemed clouded. People were crying, and worried about loved ones there. It was horrible, seeing all the pain, and thinking about all the people that were stuck in the towers, and feeling so helpless, wishing that there was something you could do, worried about where the next attack would be... It was horrible...  :'(
That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.

You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into in the first place.

on the day of 9/11 i was in elementary school, i think it was 3rd grade and my teacher got a phone call that a tragedy had happened and to turn on the t.v.,  the teacher was able to get the local news channel on and they were broadcasting the event. i was speechless watching that, i could't believe it.
