I think they're disgusting and really poorly maintained. It sucks having to smell people's crap in the stalls. And the seats are gross.

its ok if you wash your hands after going to bathroom be sure to wipe seat if you have to sit to go.

I use them if I need to, and they are fairly clean. I wish people wouldn't squat.... It's squatters that tend to get stuff on the seats! They're so concerned about getting someone else's germs but don't care if they leave theirs for the next person. BTW, according to Mythbusters and several other science investigations, the toilet seat has less germs on it than other everyday items; that is if everyone were to not soil the seat:

I also hate guys that leave the seat down when pissing in a toilet. That also tends to leave drops all over the seats.

If people were just more considerate, then public toilets wouldn't be as scary as they are portrayed to be.

I am so paranoid of using public restrooms, I always go before I leave hoom so I don't have to out, and if I do have to, then I refuse to sit on the seats!

It depends where and when, but if I need to use the seat, i always double wipe it first

Depends on the store and location. Some places don't keep them clean. Just not good in any way.
