I think we all agree that something had to be done with Health Care. As with all radical changes, people are caught of guard, and lifted out of their comfort zones. Let us allow the new law it's opportunity to prove itself. There are a lot of good things in the law. There is also a lot of pork, but I think all in all the good may out weigh the pork. I work in the Health Insurance industry, and I am willing to give the law its fair due, even with the fear that my own job may be in the balance. Call me crazy, but I just say "What the Hey!"

Or what could have happened is the government could have got out of health care all together and ending their created insurance companies. The bill did zero to help people actually get health care but enabled the insurance companies to get even richer. Uhc sent me a letter saying my premiums are going up 2500 next year. AARP said they're raising rates. Did something need to be done? Yes, absolutely. This bill however did nothing to help people and everything to help the healthcare lobby.

I don't believe this country will every get this healthcare thing right, as long as the insurance companies and drug companies are allowed to abuse the people we will never get a universal healthcare bill!
