what are u goimg to do foe the fourth of July are u going some where and watch the firework or staying home .i going to  stay home where it safe frof drunk driver that will be out tonight.

My hubby and I met his sister and stepmom (88) at a lake region that is about half way between us.

We took a boat cruise aboard the Queen II on Lake Okoboji - the southern most glacial lake in Iowa.  It is a blue water lake.

We ate nutty bars (ice cream bars hand dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts) from the same stand we did when we were kids.

We sat on the lake shore and watched a great fireworks display.

We stayed home and had a BBQ and played WII sports.  Due to the economy and lack of funds in our City...no fireworks this year

went to moms  whole family was there  bbq  and fireworks  and pool  had a great time  mmm i miss them whiskey sours.
