Rudeness is there a point!!

Lately I have seen so much rudeness among people..What is the point..Does it make these people feel special..Are they unhappy people who have nothing better to do then be rude and mean to try to make themselves feel powerful..Well news flash you look pathetic and rude..Grow up and look in the mirror and think about how you treat and speak to others before you open your trap..You have nothing nice or constructive to say then shhh..Hurting peoples feelings intentionally makes you look childish and foolish..So think how would you like to be treated and apply that to others and you will go far and live a more fulfilling life..

People are very stressed and unhappy these days.  It's a shame but rudeness and ugliness only makes everybody feel worse.  There is too much me, me, me these days.  Too often people just do not care about others.  What goes around comes around.

There are always rude people no matter where you go. You just have to learn either to deal with them constructively or just ignore them in general.

miserable people cant stand for the rest of us to be happy.  misery loves company.  i personally try to avoid these types of people

Yes it is a shame that people are becoming more and more like that just plan rude.  Its that "mine, mine, Me Me attitude"  Looking out for selves and who care about anyone else attitude.  I always say please thank you, reguardless if they are in the returning  favor of it.  If they are rude I return it with politeness with the hopes it will snap them out of it or to show there crassness.

Its just going to keep getting worse and worse unless people start getting back to the basics of having morals, and respect for oneself and others.  If you can't respect your own self how do you expect to have it for someone else. It starts at home!!!!

So many great posts back could not just quote one  ..I agree it does start at home..And they are unhappy and misery does love company..Positivity and just being nice is so much better for people..When someone is nice that person makes a mark on my day and leaves me hopeful when someone is rude I feel bad for them cause they are looked on negatively..Thank you all for commenting on my thread it is nice to see people who still want to be nice to others..And it enforces  the way I raise my kids to be polite and kind even in the face of a dark person kill them with kindness or smile and walk away!!

No there is not a point!! I have spoken of this too. There is a really HUGE line between debating or talking vs. putting others down. Its actually rather juvenile.

Why does anyone ever do anything mean?

Reasons vary. Self-Loathing, Physical Suffering, Mental dispositions, etc.

I agree 100%...There are so many rude people when I go out...I get so impressed when someone holds a door open or says thank u lol
