How do you get rid of a skunk living in your back yard?

I have seen two, I have smell them in my yard, the smell comes in the house.(help)

Call your local feed store and ask them if they have anything that repels shunks.  There is something called Shake All- small animal repel.  I'm pretty sure this is the name of it.  If they don't have this one they should have something.  Or tell you were you can get some.  You can also check other places like Lowes, Home Depot etc.  Hope this helps I know what your going through they stink so bad but its so much worse when they get hit by cars the smell       Wow.  Good luck.

Not sure if this works on skunks but other animals like squirrels are repelled by fox urine.  You can get it at gardening stores, Home Depot, or Ace Hardware might carry it too.

Animal control might be able to put out humane traps and relocate them.

we have a friend that works at a camp ground and when they have a skunk problem he will use a live trap but he would put a old tarp over it and bait it with what ever skunks like to eat, and then when he dose get the skunk, the tarp will prevent the spray from getting on you , and he alwys relocates them at least 10 or miles away ..

where i live animal control gives you a animal trap and you put it out where you think the animal will be and if you catch it they will come and get it.

Call animal control for sure, you don't want to take the chance of getting sprayed and then having to bathe in tomato sauce.
