Have any of you heard about "Exodus from Hunger?".
« on: November 11, 2010, 12:43:27 pm »
As you may know the government has passed a stimulus plan again this year to help boost the ecomony. Although this is wonderful, actually only the few really benefit from it. Legislature is trying to focus more on the "working Poor". Example; A young mother who works @ Applebees for 8.00ph. is not able to meet all of obligations towards running her household bills, less and less money is available for food. All the churches and food banks serve only about 1% of those in need. The stimulus package that the Legislature is trying to revise will look out after the working poor. There will be tax breaks available for everyone not just those that don't really need it. When given a chance, voice your opinion about the stimulus package. Lets all pull together and let the government know how we all feel about children going to bed at night hungry in this wonderful country called "Land of Oportunity". :peace:
