Finally into my second trimester! & Defiantly starting to feel tons better!
To all the mommys to be or veteran moms, When did you find out the sex of your baby?
I'm going in 2 weeks when i'll be 17 weeks & the ultrasound tech promises 100% accurate reading..
Hmm have you heard of that?

Congraulations, I am not a "veteran mom" but I am a veteran DAD and we found out the sex of both our babies at around 20 weeks so I would say thats right.  Do you have a preference aside from the baby being happy and healthy?

Yes that's right! Congratulations! Are you doing to get to do the 3D sonogram? If you can those things are cool. You can really see what you're child looks like. Also, the second trimester to me was the most fun. I didn't have all day sickness anymore and it was before my feet swelled up too bad and I got too tired. Enjoy every second of it! When you finally have your child, the nine months feels like a flash. My son is now a year and two months old and I can hardly believe it. Take lots of pictures and good luck!

Congrats! I just started my third trimester today!! You will definitely be able to tell the sex at the appointment unless the baby refuses to cooperate and doesn't move. I know a couple of my friends would eat or drink something sugary before the ultrasound to keep the baby moving around, so they were able to find out. This is my 4th child, but we don't find out the sex until he or she is born. My husband likes the surprise.

No such thing! I have a two friends who the tech told were having girls... guess what, they both had boys! They are usually right, but not 100% til that baby comes out!

I didn't want to know the sex of my baby, but some reason I always knew I was going to give birth to a girl.  I gave birth to a 7lbs. 3oz.  sweet faced screaming girl.

Congrats!! I have not had a child of my own, but I have helped raise my fiancee son.  When we have our child we have decided to wait till the birth to find out what the sex is....IT WOULD BE LIKE CHRISTMAS!!!  I hope the rest of the pregnancy goes wonderful for you! :)

I found out about 22 weeks. It's not 100% but nowadays the accuracy percentage is higher. If the baby is curled up in a ball during the ultrasound, it may be harder to tell the sex, but some babies end up spread-eagle, making it easier to tell. haha

With my first pregnancy I tried to find out about 22 weeks along, however my daughter was a lil lady and kept her legs closed tightly, again about 25 weeks along she did the same thing, I was about 30 weeks when I finally found out.  My son I was around 18 weeks or so, at first they told me he was a girl, luckily they checked from a different angle during that same ultrasound and discovered he was a boy.  I am pregnant again and this time I am uncertain if I want to find out the sex, I think it would be kind of neat to be surprised when the baby is born.  Although it will be difficult!
