:peace:  I struggle each day to keep my spirits up but seems the one you love the most takes everything you say the wrong way.     I just would love some peace and understanding. :crybaby2:

I totally hear ya...have the same problem with someone here.  I think it's because people are just different, a person can say 1 sentence in front of 3 people and they each will interpret it in their own way according to their life's experiences.  It's actually kind of neat how that works but when it's causing major stress with someone close---it's just frustrating!!   :sad1:

I agree, with this.  It could also be something worse.  It's may be more than just misunderstandings and professional help may be needed depending on how severe the problem is.  In some cases these differences of opinions or how things sound to people are magnified in a negative way due to depression, anger, or other disorders.  I have known of some people that just always seem to "have a chip on their shoulder".  Sometimes it is more than just people having different viewpoints.  If the behavior is elevated and constant, assitance from a third party may help.  HTH and hope things improve.

You have to be very careful over the internet, as body language makes up most of the conversation in real life. And obviously they can't read your body language over the internet. If people are misunderstanding you in real life, be more careful before you speak and if you have a feeling you might offend people, then tell them that. Something along the lines of "I really respect you and I don't want to offend you, I hope you don't misunderstand what I'm about to say..." and so on.
