Cobell v. Salazar
« on: February 23, 2010, 06:37:31 pm »
The suit was filed on June 10, 1996 to address the government’s breaches of trust which resulted in the loss, dissipation, theft, misdirection, misappropriation, and unaccountability of several billion dollars of monies held in trust by the United States for Indian beneficiaries in Individual Indian Money (IIM) accounts.

Depends on who asks and when, the excuse changes to suit the occasion. But actually the excuses are just matters of convenience, the government has shown time and again that it doesn't need an excuse....it just does what is expedient at the time with little thought as to what is morally acceptable, only what will have a blind eye turned toward it, swept under the rug or justified in the view of the status-quo, in other words....they do pretty much what they want when they want and treaties be damned, knowing full well that the vast majority of voters wont give two shits as long as it isn't coming out of their pay checks.

Too Bad---So Sad---Get over it---Move on with your life---Heck I am mad as hell about the taxes they take out of my check, and every thing I buy, I have to pay tax on. I have to pay city, county and state tax on. I can't spend all my time ranting about it. I gotta go eat a good supper and take a hot shower, and enjoy a good drink, and be thankful for all my blessings. Ain't nothing perfect.
