Those sites are giving you a free trial  after the trial is up they are gonna charge your credit card  so beware  and some if you give them your cell phone number you will get charged on your phone bill. you have to read what your signing up for.  be careful there are still plenty of offers you dont need credit card or cell phone number

Just use your common sense. If you are not comfortable to give your CC number for something you don't really need, by all means don't.

What you can do is click on Free/No Credit Card Required offers to eliminate this problem.

I have done 3 or 4 offers that required my credit card number and have had no problems.
The thing is that you HAVE to cancel as soon as you receive the item - to be sure you will
not be charged any more. I always tape a piece of paper right on my monitor so I won't forget!!

(they are hoping that you will want to continue or forget to cancel, so BE SURE TO CANCEL :) )

Be careful with offers that ask you for your credit card.  If you forget to cancel on an offer with a trial period,  you get the charge. There are so many more offers out there that don't ask for a credit card, that I don't bother with those that do.

I stay away from the credit card offers. They don't have anything I want and I would probally forget to cancel.

Just do ones that you are really interested in and give them an honest evaluation. Make sure you know how to contact them and what they require if you want to cancel.
