:) Yes! Too many things unrelated to Christmas are sold for a profit.

Why do you get to decide what is unrelated?  Maybe it's the other way around -- maybe your holiday is unrelated to their business?  You do know there are many, many people here of different religion or no religion at all, don't you? Should stores shut down and not try to make a profit (in other words, undercut the very essence of our economic ideology) even when people still wish to shop and live December 25th just like any other day?

If you think it's too commercialized, don't buy anything.  Don't give gifts, don't pay for any services, etc.  But I'm willing to bet you got at least a few gifts and/or purchased gifts for others.  Is my bet correct?

If its to commercialized then its how you think and not as a whole for all.  People have different traditions when it comes to Christmas  and its not all about the money being spent, but the spirit of Christmas and why we do celebrate the day.
