Pivot tables in excel

I'm.quite new to the pivot tables options in Excel. Basically I have a good template with data and stuff made by my colleagues. I need to create pretty much the same with 2023 data but I'm stuck and I have no idea how to do it .Is there an option to use the already made pivot but just to change the data and replace it without losing the format?

Make sure that the 2023 data table has the same column names as the data table of the existing pivot table.

Yeah, you can totally use the same pivot table setup without losing the formatting. What I usually do is just right-click the pivot table, then go to “Change Data Source,” and from there, update the range to the new data. Your formatting and everything else should stay the same, which is super handy. Yes, you can simply change the data source in the pivot table via "PivotTable Analysis" by selecting "Change Data Source". The format will remain the same. I had a similar issue with Excel where after an update it asked for reactivation. Has anyone had issues with Excel activation?

I’ve been through the same thing with Excel after an update. Everything was fine, but then suddenly, it started asking for reactivation every time I opened it. After some troubleshooting and frustration, I ended up using a ms office activator to get around the issue. It worked, but I realized it might have happened because my license key got invalidated during the update.
