Keyboard typing and hacking protection

I am on Windows 10 Home v 21H1. I have the option of using a virtual keyboard with my current AV Internet Security software ( Bit Defender).
The purpose of this virtual keyboard is to hide the PW characters when you type them on the regular keyboard, so that hackers won’t be able to see the characters typed.
Unfortunately I have a poor eyesight. This virtual keyboard is too small and difficult to use, also because I have been recently scammed $ 6000 by hackers on my bank account and I have to use a very long and convoluted PW which difficult to remember and long to type.
Would it be safe to copy and paste the PW characters each time from a Word document, instead of typing them? It would be a lot quicker and I thought this way hackers wouldn't see the PW as I type it.

Hi, there are password managers that are good at this sort of thing- one click opens the site, and then fields are auto-filled..

Good for all manner of logins, and work across multiple browsers. Data is encrypted- it would not be without some care one your part using cut and paste. Some have free options.

It also offers a virtual keyboard. (Perhaps other password managers do too).

Naturally where the site has a field where a variable selection of characters must be filled e.g. using drop-downs (for extra security) the best the password manager can do then is to make the necessary data available. I've only ever noted Roboform capable of that. (Things can change of course).
