Bundling your bills

I just want to let as many people as I can know that Bundling your bills may sound great because you will get a discount.
Bundling means that let's say your phone company also takes care of your TV service, you will get a call asking if you want to save money and instead of getting 2 bill you will get 1 and a discount. Sounds Great but BEWARE. You are entering into a new contract and if you want to cancel or chnage one of those services you will be billed a SUBSTANTIAL amount. Over 100 or 200 dollars.  So be careful and always ask for the full terms. More to come on ways companies we trust and use every day try to get hidden costs.

you'rempletely right they are doing their best to collect a lot of hidden fees right now I had a hard time with my phone company although it is one of the best here

The $99.00 bundle with the 3 (phone, net and TV ) ends up costing about $127.00/month. Not a great deal. I was suckered into it and now have to wait it out so I don't break my contract

For me phone,cable,internet on the bundle i pay 189.00. Little much i think, but have shop around not too many out here have cable with this, so a little stuck.

Yes those bundle deals are a bit misleading. Another thing to remember is that all of your bundle services will be turned off if payments are late . Its best to keep things seperate!!

  YES!! Keep them separet !! I pay $35 a month for internet, and $5.50 a month for lifeline phone. I don't have cable T.V., because it is too expensive. My total bills for the month are never over $200.. I pay about $35 a month for P.G.and E. and my water is $35. Garbage is $45, every two months. I grow veggies in my garden and I have 25 fruit and nut trees, so I save on food too. I need to write a book on how to live on Social security!!!

absolutely not. i don't even like the idea of having
my bills all from the same company. i've never had
an amenity shut off because i couldn't pay it, but
i would surely be up a creek if that ever DID happen
and i bundled everything together...

in the long run, the "convenience" just doesn't
outweigh the more expensive/possibly risky outcomes

In my area, I can't bundle my bills. I do not have the same company.

I kinda feel like the black sheep here...I bundle and like it. I used to have things separate, and did pay more. 
I have my phone, internet, and satellite together. I looked into adding my cell phone, but they can't beat my
plan that I currently have. You do want to compare first and ALWAYS remember that want they quote you
may not include all sales tax, fees, and extras come bill time -ask for that, so there's no surprises later on
