I don't have any plans to travel at this time even if it is suppose to be safe to do so.  The price of gas is so high that I can't afford to travel.

I believe this is the safest and the most comfortable way of transportation. You get a super nice vibe when you go somewhere by train, especially when traveling with your friends or family. I do not feel safe around strangers at this time.  Travel is a risk, getting stuck in quarantine, or even overcrowded hospitals in a strange town would not be ideal!

We have been talking about doing the train for the trip that is west coast to east coast pretty much where the Canadian and American countries come together.  We have heard about it for years.

We have reservations for a night in Seattle and then on to Birch Bay, Washington (a few minutes from Canada) so we may take an afternoon to buzz up to Vancouver to visit Granville Island (one of our favorite spots). If gas goes too high for too long  Biden will get his wish to push everyone into electric cars.
