Home grown Herbs

I have a kitchen window with slots for plant shelves. I have grown herbs before do you grow herbs? basil, fennel, others but mine get spindly I use them before they are all grown. Really not easy for me. Its herb day today.

The only herb i have grown is basil, i'm going to try to grow more herbs next year

I have mint, and basil in the garden, in pots on the porch I have dill, cilantro, chives and lemongrass.   I use some kind of herb each day in what I cook.

I tried scallion and cilantro which are my favorites. They are harder than I thought.

I don't have too much luck with homegrown herbs here not sure why. Would love to get me one of those areo gardens one day to take care of that issue
