Summer Colds

As expected, more and more people are coming down with summer colds....the reduction of mask wearing and closer proximity and lack of time being around others is contributing to this....

I am going to start with the drive up shopping again. Sadly going grocery shopping is one of my hiking tours.  good luck for staying well

I think I will be learning to do the drive-up shopping or go to every 2 weeks.

Are we saying that summer colds are a menace to society?

I never thought they were a big deal, only a minor inconvenience, but then again I don't think I've had one in years. 

I take Vitamin C and Zinc every day along with about 20 other vitamins and minerals though, so
that may have something to do with it.

BB,i think cos we are so used to getting them when weather is cold when you get one in summer its like putting on a pair of pants that doesnt fit.

Im not saying the colds we get in the colder weather are better,it just seems they fit the situation better.

Me neither but then I've never had a summer cold haven't even had a winter cold in a long time but being sick is no fun regardless of the season.

I have try wearing masks when I go outside which hopefully help with cold but also allergies. So far so good.

i haven't had a cold in over 18 months. i don't usually get colds in the summer.
i am going to start wearing a mask again inside at the grocery store due to covid and the variants not the common cold

I had a cold for the past 5 days. It's now getting better. I call it a sinus cold. I have allergies as well.
