Clearway Solar
« on: June 12, 2021, 02:55:10 am »
Has anyone ever heard of this company? We had a kid come here claiming to lower our electric bill by 7%. my boyfriend hands over to him our laptop wanting to see our electric bill (we are paperless) once the laptop in hand he tells my boyfriend can he have some water so he came in and got the kid a bottle of water. I tried to tell this kid we are not interested but he wouldn't listen because my BF was cooperating with him. This sounds like a scam to me what do you think?

We have solar, but the company was Titan. I think since solar is really becoming popular new companies are coming out of the woodwork. Beware if they do work if you aren't home. My sister had a company and had to have them back while they weren't home (they had cameras) one man was going through their shed and stole things and tried to get into every building.

It looks like a legit company but the way this kid handled himself I didn't like. We shut the door and he walked right in anyways , very rude and bold kid

Not sure I would fill right with him having access to all the thing on my computer. That would worry me.

I never let anyone in trying to sale anything nor would I purchase it from him because he didn't have the proper skills or training to be selling a product.  Change your passwords asap.

Sounds a bit odd to me but hard to tell...name doesn't ring a bell but then again, could be local or just the fact that I'm not really looking or aware of solar companies

We have solar and it has lowered our bill by way more than 7%.  A lot of states and municipalities are mandating new builds must have solar and other energy saving things put it right off.  That's good because it is so much cheaper to put in at that point.
