Crock Pot Baked Chicken
« on: May 05, 2021, 03:46:39 pm »
I made baked chicken, potatoes, celery, carrots and onions (seasoning too) in my crockpot. It was good, the meat was falling off the bone and all for the first 2 days it taste great. Now it's nasty to me. Have anybody ever experienced this before? I don't think I will be able to finish it all. I cooked it Saturday evening.

That sounded delicious. I take out enough for two days and freeze the rest for another time and that works great for me because I like a variety and don't like eating the same thing everyday.

Think I'll try this.

I do that too, there are so many times when I am so busy it is nice to have something ready to just pop in the oven.

I use my crockpot a lot.  I used basically the same recipe as you, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, seasoning, so easy and so good.

I don't use my crockpot as much now as I use to because I live alone and the crockpot makes so much food that I can't eat it all.

Take the chicken and cut it up and put it in the blender with pickle relish and mayo (or miricle whip) and make it into sandwiches.

sounds like a good recipe, I would have used  boneless chicken or taken the bone out of it.
