Biden said in his inaugural speech that he wants unity. We will see if his actions match his words. He can help to bring about unity if he chooses to not antagonize those on the other side.

I wish him the best of luck and I pray for him and our country - I pray for peace and prosperity under Joe Biden's leadership.
Good luck and best wishes to my President Joe Biden.

(How many of you Trump haters had the decency to refer to Trump as your President or had hopes for prosperity under his leadership rather than wishing doom and destruction just so that you could gloat and point fingers? Very few and that is a real shame and is indicative of one of the many things wrong with this country).

God Bless us all [we need it]...

I’m just glad that the White House is finally cleared of all the dirty cockroaches which was recently infecting the White House. I’d rather have a boringPresident then a crazy loudmouth negative incident causing moron leading the people. Amen to Biden and Harris as the new leaders of the United States of America.

It was peaceful and beautiful .  Different, of course, but there was a peaceful and uplifting air about the event.  At least that's what I came away with. :)

I don't know what is wrong with this world today.  People need to be more concerned about this virus and how many people are dying each day instead of violence over a Presidential election.

I did find it ironic back during her early run for President that everyone on the D side and in the media lambasted any Republican who happened to mispronounce the name "Kamala" and all were immediately labeled as being racist for their inability to pronounce her name correctly (even though it is not obvious upon first sight which syllable should receive the emphasis).

Yet when she was sworn in as our new Vice President by another liberal - female - minority  on the US Supreme Court, who also got the "Kamala" pronunciation wrongJustice Sotomayor got an absolute pass from being labeled a racist. Why is it racist for a conservative to mispronounce a name, but 100% okay for a liberal to do the exact same thing? As a matter of fact, it seems to me that it is even MORE of an insult/oversight/offensive situation when the Justice swearing her in at such a momentous event in history doesn't even bother to insure that she has the pronunciation right. Somebody please explain to me where my logic is flawed.

Just more of the double standard B.S. incidents which I would love to hear any one explain to me in terms I could understand.

Well, if you don't understand it, then it is impossible to explain. Besides, your terms for understanding include the word rational. Are you kidding?

Besides, your logic is seldom flawed, UGetPaid.

People (change that to women cuz I don't think a man would give a p-o-o-p) who stress over how their name is pronounced in situations such as those we are in now are obsessive compulsive and need to take a chill pill. She is a waste of space IMO anyway.

I think they call it "POLITICS"

Its in every aspect of iife.

Monday Morning QBing.

Dontcha think the Packer fans are yelling why they kicked a FG so late in the game?

Or when someone right here in the forum does a spell check on someone and means it in not a nice way?

I can remember when i was a kid someone batting higher in the order not as good as me cos he was closer to manager.

Need i go on?

More serious things to worry about.

I watched the inauguration show as well. Amanda Gorman is so inspiring. I am glad that my son's school is all sharing her video and learning from her.

No, it is called "HYPOCRISY"; but you are correct that it is in every aspect of life.

I think when i said Politics i was already covering hypocrisy.I guess we could put reiigeon in that group too.

Jesus certainly didnt hold back from telling that to many while Satan has blinded the minds in this world to support freedom of religeon.

I'm glad it was peaceful.  It's no need to get ugly and dangerous just because you don't agree with the outcome.
