I recently went to walmart and the last time I was there different sections were empty. Today I went to walmart and those sections were full of stuff again but other sections were empty. I can't understand why the warehouse can't send them what they need instead of what they already have

I've noticed that in the Walmart around here too.  Sometimes I have to go to another store too because Walmart just does not keep stocked up on the things I used to get there before Covid 19.

Things fly off the shelves so fast these days, it is probably just hard for them to keep up. Also, people are buying in bulk or taking the  max of what is allowed of an item; it can be frustrating.

I'm sure it is hard for them to keep things stocked up because people are buying things up in bulk.  I thought by now this would not be happening anymore but I guess it still is.

I agree, certain shelves appear empty.  I think people are buying in bulk again.

Part of the problem is not being able to get stuff from the manufacturer.  Has nothing to do with the warehouse or people buying stuff up.  I do think there are people who are still stocking up on stuff.  But I have talked to department managers and they say they can't get stuff.  And if they order x amount they are sent about 1/3 of what they ask for.  So then it gets gone fast.  I have been trying to find the Ranch Dressing powder that you make your own dressing from for a long time. It is never in stock any more. I found some online but it was more than 10 times the price Walmart charges in the stores.

Yep. not as many workers so not as many products.  I guess we all just got spoiled being able to find and buy what we wanted when we want it.

I know I did a pick-up from Walmart a few days ago and got quite a few "substitutions".  They were tolerable but I could have thought of better substitutions - oh well I guess something is better than nothing.
