Could the newest scandal have been avoided if proper protocol had been followed? The current President held private conversations with Russia and Turkey. Numerous calls were received, in private from Turkey's Erdogan. Now, in light of the possible Russian involvement with Taliban hired to kill United States Soldiers, he has no backup other that recordings most likely taken and kept by the Russian/Turkish Secret Service directed by leaders that listened to people with experience. Now we will have another two months of news about presidential shortcomings and/or how the Democratic party is wrong for thinking that this presents further collusion evidence or that he just has not been given a chance. It appears that he was given a chance, did not follow directions and is in yet another scandal.
