We went to a big shoe store today located about an hour from where I live.  I actually called before we went to make sure you could try on the shoes.  The girl that answered the phone was like well yeah you can try them on. I said well I didn't know because Walmart you can't try stuff on any more.  If it had not been for a couple of people wearing masks it would have seemed absolutely normal. lol

I think they just recently opened back up.

There is one a couple towns over from me. I don't get there often but there have affordable clothes. Not really bought much of anything else there.

I agree. Cannot wait until TJ Maxx opens up. I really don't do that much shopping other than grocery and essentials, but I sort of am looking forward to go to TJ Maxx and find some really great bargains, it will be fun.

With so many stores closed because of  the pandemic, you have to wonder if they will re-open.

I don't understand the appeal of stores like TJ Maxx. It feels like a big garage sale. Every clothing rack is a just a hodge podge of different styles. I can never find anything there that's worth the time sifting through all that junk.

Yeah, you have to look through a lot but I still enjoy shopping there.

I did not even know that TJ Maxx was still in business, honestly. I haven't seen/been in one for several years now.

I know people love TJ MAXX, but I have never been a fan.  The store is too messy and disorganized for me to shop in.  I don't want to have to search thru racks of clothing looking for a treasure.  Don't get me wrong.  Some people really love that.  But, it just causes me stress to be in that store.  I don't care for shopping so I usually want to get in and get out.  I"m not one to browse.

That's exactly how I am. I just want to go in, get what I need, and get out. My mom is a browser, so it's really hard for me to go shopping with her. But I suffer through it to spend time together.

They started to open up some of the retail stores in our area this week and I understand the line to get into  T J MAXX and Marshalls was almost wrapped around the block! I have no plans to  venture into retail stores anytime soon. I think the Mall opens  later this month; I will wait awhile before i go there as well.
