Finally going on vacation

well We were supposed to go at the end of may but was postponed due to uncertain reasons. We were gonna fly down but decided to truck it across the country. it will be fun doing that again. just not on a greyhound this time. I prefer to drive this time

Lucky you. I miss traveling. As a kid with my parents, I was in every state except the west coast and TX plus Canada over the years. That was before interstate highways so there was always lots to see! Still had the urge when I married and used to travel with hubby when he was a truck driver, until his company wouldn't let me go because of insurance liablity.

It was also before you have an awesome phone with an awesome camera so you could take literally thousands of pictures. haha

As far as going with your husband you should have got a CDL.  I know a woman whose husband was a truck driver and when she quit her job in a factory she got a CDL and they drove as a team.  Had their own truck.  She said it was not that hard and she loved it.  Personally I don't think I would want to drive a big rig. lol
