Ohio State vs Alabama - is it going to be much of a contest?

I am a huge Buckeyes fan, having grown up in Ohio. I would love to say we will give Alabama a good contest, but Im not so sure. We have several out and Fields is hurt, although not badly. Ironically, I didnt expect us to beat Clemson, so I think it might be a good game. I wish both teams good luck.

Buckeye fan here also. I think it will be a contest. Many don't expect OSU to be much of a hurdle, but I say don't count them out.

Alabama all the way and I don't care for them, but they will win.

I watched this game (even though my loyalty is to the Oregon Ducks) and could not help but admire Alabama all the way to their coach. This was a class act to be sure.

Unfortunately Ohio did not have a great game plan last night.

I don't think their "game plan" was an issue. They just didn't execute it well and with Bama, they couldn't afford anything less than perfection. Of course, losing their star RB on the first play of the game didn't help matters.

I am a huge Buckeyes fan as I grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and the Buckeyes ruled the state at that time.

The game started out good for my team, Ohio State, but quickly and unfortunately it became apparent who was the team, Alabama. Even though Alabama disgusts me and has for a number of years, I must admit in the College Football championship game of 2021 they were the best. Ugh!

I am a Buckeye as well, but I have to ask why Alabama "disgusts" you. I am not fond of them as a perennial powerhouse (mainly because that makes them a roadblock for Ohio State's national title hopes each year), but I don't find them to be disgusting.

Are you simply unhappy that they are such a strong dynasty and your own team is unable to dethrone them to break into that spot? Because, if so, I am right there with you in that sentiment.

Alabama is tough to beat - the other SEC teams keep changing coaches but Nick Saban just continues
