All I see is other offers to join other sites that then offer other offers to join other sites...and they all seem to be separate to fusion cash.  how do you start actually adding anything to your account apart from the initial bonus?

You simply need to sign up for the offers you are referring to.  Many of the sites that you can sign up for are just a one time sign up to take paying surveys.  Those have really turned out well for many of us here.  The other free offers are ones that you get paid to provide your e mail address and look at offers.  You also get cash back for shopping and taking surveys on FC.  Don't forget the daily clicks too!
