What is your point?  How often do you think he or any one else finds a one hundred dollar bill on the ground.  And yes, if he were walking along and saw a one hundred dollar bill on the ground it would be worth his time to bend over and pick it up.  It would take maybe 2 nano seconds.  Of course he would be criticized because he should have left it laying there for some poor unfortunate waif to find.  smh

Most people would not think it was worth the time to spend hours attempting to do surveys to only make a few pennies (that add up) at the end of the day.

By the way, I found a one hundred dollar bill on the pavement of a parking lot...
and yes!... I picked it up and spent it very well. Someone told me that at night,
some charities disperse paper bills on the pavement of empty parking lots so some
lucky desperate people will find them next morning.

I doubt this is true.  Charities do not waste their funds.  If they throw money on the parking lot some where there is no way to know who would find it.  Or if the person who found it actually needed help.  It is getting until they want quite a bit of info just to help any one.  And I do not blame them.  The majority of people who really need help won't ask.  The first ones in line with their hand out usually are pretty well off.

I do have personal knowledge of at least one car lot where the salesmen throw a few pennies around for shoppers to find and believe it leads to more sales.

We always look for coins in the parking lot and lottery ticket to check.

Yes he should give away  a ton of money. He,his wife, kids have more then what they need. Can't believe he has that much.  He should go to stores like walmart and pay for people's purchases. Like to see those on youtube.

Geez folks!  While I don't necessarily agree with all of the causes they support, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation contributes a tremendous amount of money to charitable causes. What more do you want the guy to do? Seriously? Go to Walmart and pay for people's stuff?

I would argue against it being a waste of his time to pick up a stray $100 bill; but to pay for random people at Walmart (as opposed to the stuff his foundation already does) would be a tremendous waste of his time!!!

I would definitely pick up a hundred dollar bill. Just remember Bill Gates is into eugenics and he not such a good person.

Gates is a proponent of gene editing in order to health stamp out persistent disease and causes of poverty as well as to address problems in agriculture and medicine. Actually, scientists and livestock breeders have been doing it for years through selective breeding.

I read some good advice on stopping to pick up coins in the parking lot. If you're too embarrassed to stoop down and pick up a penny, drop a dollar bill down next to it and that will make it worth the effort.

In my wildest dreams, I cannot imagine a person not picking up a one hundred dollar bill that is on the ground in front of them.

That is, of course, unless ithey are a germophobe and the thought of touching it would be repugnant. I don't care how rich you are. Free money is free money.  :moneymouth:

Someone's gonna pick it up. Might as well be me.

As for Bill and Melinda Gates; I think they are givers, not hoarders. Just my considered opinion from what I've seen and heard. And I think their own human nature would more or less compel them to pick up a one hundred dollar bill that is lying smack dab in front of them.  :dontknow: They aren't stupid just because they're rich.

I would personally pick up money LOL. But I do think these rich people should help more with charities.
