Women and hair loss
« on: November 18, 2019, 01:19:25 pm »
Are any of you women struggling with hair loss and have you found anything to stop it or slow it down?  I know some hair loss is normal but, handfuls is not.  I've tried so many things and I'm still getting a lot of hair coming out, especially after a shower.

Sorry about your hair loss problem.  That sounds like there may be something else going on in your body so  maybe you need to see a doctor and have yourself checked out..  Good luck

Yes, I am having the same exact problem. I've been to the doctor about it, but there's no medical/hormonal reason for it. It just is.  :(   I haven't yet found a satisfactory solution to this, and I'm even thinking about purchasing a wig! And the saddest part is that I used to have such thick, glorious hair when I was younger, LOL!  :peace:

I find an unbelievable amount in the shower drain and my hairbrush daily.  I can't believe I lose that much hair in a day's time but you wouldn't think it all came from me if you'd see the head of hair I have.  Although it is fine, I have a lot.
Have a wonderful day!

I don't know that you can stop it.  This seems to be something that is happening a lot.  Then I wonder if it is caused by things put in our foods.  It is about the only things we would all have in common.  The preservatives they put in the foods are not safe.  Same with all the kids being born with autism or other bad mental problems.  When I was a kid there was maybe 8-10 in a school over over 900.  And these days you have closer to 100.  It is in the foods we are eating. But there is not a lot you can do because you cannot totally grow and provide ALL your own food.

Just a thought for you motivated people: Really massage your hair well whenever you think about it. One good time is when you're in the shower and washing your hair or when you brush your hair before you go to bed. Massage is good for your scalp and may encourage new growth.

Also there are Biotin vitamin supplements, shampoos and conditioners that can help as well. I've been doing all that and I've seen some noticeable difference in the texture of my hair.  :)

I loose so much hair daily. Luckily I have very thick hair so it is not noticable.

I don't have that issue, but my grandmother did. She had red hair and as she got older her hair got lighter and lighter in color, but never grey, as it got lighter she lost more and more hair. By the time she passed she had very little hair left.
