They gave a list of the worst candy to get on Halloween today on the radio. Candy corn was at the top followed by Circus Peanuts, Peanut Butter Kisses, Wax Cola Bottles, Necco Wafers, Tootsie Rolls, Smarties, licorice, Good & Plenty and Bit-O-Honey.

I can remember being disappointed with lots of candy I got on Halloween. How funny. Some of it I wouldn't even touch with a ten-foot pole, you know. :crybaby2:

:fish:

Beggars can't be choosers.  It is funny that parents take their kids door to door asking for a piece of candy and then talk about the people who give candy they don't like.  I know some older people who participate and hand out candy but it is cheaper candy.  It is what they can afford.  Then people cry because they don't get full size chocolate bars.  smh

I tend to pick a couple things out to eat and check all that she gets and let her have a few and put it up from her then give as treats.

I have heard there is a new thing parents are doing where you get like 2 pieces of candy and then put it in a box or something and a "fairy' comes in the night and takes the candy and leaves a toy.  WHY would you go out trick or treating if you are just going to throw the candy away?  Just go buy your kid a toy and stay at home.   Some people have suggested donating the candy to soldiers but most candy cannot be shipped lose and a lot of stuff like chocolate that will melt can't be shipped at all.

My baby still can't have all the candy as he is too young so I eat some of it. He can eat the chocolate bars and suck on the suckers.
