10/4:National Taco Day

I love tacos, too! I enjoy all tacos, everything from Taco Bell tacos to authentic Mexican tacos. I have never liked really bready sandwiches and prefer the sandwich fillings more, so tacos are the perfect "sandwich" for me, LOL! I like beef tacos, pork tacos, chicken tacos. And I also like lettuce, tomatoes, green onions, guacamole, and sour cream on them. I won't be eating a taco today since I just found out it's National Taco Day, thanks to your post, but I may just have one tomorrow!

Any day is Taco Day for me, especially when Taco Bell gives them away free. I ate lots of them during the World Series when "Steal a Base, Steal a Taco" was going on. What really blew me away was when our local Taco Bell would give you up to EIGHT tacos on those days.

A couple of days ago our local NBA team scored over 100 points in a game (actually it happens often) and McDonalds hands out 6 piece Chicken Nuggets for free. Sometimes I take them home and make tacos out of them.

The truth is the word Taco is like Sandwich and you can put anything you like in them. My favorite is Fish Tacos.

Glad to hear you took advantage of the World Series promo.  I was watching and keeping 'score' as well, but did not get around to making the trip to steal a taco from Taco Bell.  I usually enjoy these type of promos with sports events.

I have to agree with you about fish tacos, too.  I always look for these first on the menu.  Yum!

I missed the 10/4 taco day but it doesn't mean much to me because I absolutely LOVE taco's and ANY day is a good day for taco's we also make taco salad occasionally and like that as well.  Yum Yum
