That’s probably just a common, intractable or uncontrollable phase that boys live through. As I was growing up, boys frequently gave me hard times!

Sorry to know the boy is acting like this. Maybe a swat across the but is in order. If my kid did that even once I'd be nuts. My son acted out a little after school. He had a ton of energy but never harmful.  M6 grandson age 3 is crazy sometimes but never hits his mom or dad.

I am so sad your daughter is going through this -  if there is one thing that I have learned in 66 years is that children can come the closest to breaking your heart.  And the person who gave such a negative response about the counseling should put up or shut up wow I see they had nothing constructive to suggest.Thank you FC for the ignore function.

debido, it appears to me that Mark may have issues too so I just take it from the source hun. Thank you for being so kind :)

I hate to say this, but there is definitely something wrong with him.  I spent over 29 years in a school for social!y and emotionally disturbed children. I would first get him to a family doctor to see if he's physically ok, then make an appointment asap with a child psychologist or psychiatrist.  A psychiatrist can put him on meds if needed.  It's bad enough that he is doing those things now, but if you don't find the cause it will only escalate as he ages and the bigger and stronger he gets the harder it will be to control him.  Good luck.

Nancy his counselor said that he doesnt need Meds, and he does great in school, the teacher said that is is smart and well behaved. Its just at home he acts out but I do agree that something is going on with him :(

You said a counselor, I have I ask what type of counselor?  We have counselors at our school, but they are NOT doctors.  I don't mean to scare you, but if you don't find the problem now it will only get worse  Many of our kids did great in school, smart as all get out, but the behaviour was another thing.  Seriously I wish you and your daughter the best of luck

I talked to my daughter and it is a professional counselor
