Halftime performers

It was announced that JLo and Shakira will be the half time performers for the Super Bowl - thoughts?

I'm not a huge fan of either of either JLo or Shakira, but they are both super-talented and will probably put on a really great show. I think the Super Bowl executives did well by getting those two superstars.

I doubt I'll watch the half time show or the Super Bowl.  Unless I happen to be at work that day, then the game will be on and I might catch a few glimpses of the tube.

I don't watch the Super Bowl.  I am not a particular fan of any sport, excepting maybe the Olympics, if that counts.  I wouldn't mind catching this half-time show as I think they are both good performers, but I won't be making any extra effort. If I catch it, okay; if i don't, oh well!

I guess I will be watching the puppy bowl this year for the halftime show. They need to bring in some rock bands like metallica . even U2 was good back in the day.

I usually only watch for the commercials and now I can see them online.  No interest in halftime show.

I like them but I doubt I'll watch it. I'm not really interested in football or the halftime show.

I don't generally watch the game unless my team has made it there;  I guess they will do ok, I like J Lo more as an actress then performer.

I want them to get a rock band again like U2, or rolling stones.  I'm tired of the popstars, though I guess that's what most people like.

Superbowl halftime shows have gone to pot ever since they turned into mega productions by superstar entertainers. They should select a few college marching bands or even a high school aged drum corps or two to do the Superbowl halftime show. It would be much more entertaining and hold my attention better.

Sounds like some great entertainment but I've decided that a percentage of people tune into the Super Bowl so they can watch the very expensive commercials while they justify eating chips and salsa.
