I don't understand the bitcoin or what it is suppose to be.  I saw a site once that was a ptc site but it pays it bitcoin which from what I understand is basically pretend money that might be worth something some day in the future? lol

I don't understand the block chain or bitcoin and other cryptocurrency available.  some say it will be the currency of the future.....others say it is a scam.

Cryptocurrency can go up and down in value pretty quickly, but I've invested in it to a small extent.  Bitcoin should increase in value before next May when the mining rate is cut in half. I am not a financial advisor and do not provide investment advice, but I am personally dumping whatever extra I can afford into BTC between now and then - whether its PTC site earnings, apps, or even FC earnings beyond what I need for monthly spending money... I won't say what I have now, but it's more than just a few dollars and less than super significant.  We'll see how much it is worth this time next year as I slowly add to it while its dollar value goes up.
