When my grandparents were alive they used to live in Arizona because it was so very rare when they get snow.  I bet for Arizona it must have seemed like a blizzard.

The weather is crazy, we had a huge snow in early Dec in NC that was record setting.  So much damage caused by it as  lots of things just not built for that snow load

We rarely have a good snowfall here in middle Tennessee.  I can't imagine what it feels like to live with snow all winter long.  I'm sure it gets old quickly, especially for those who have to get around in it.  We get a dusting about twice a year, and occasionally get an inch or two.  I would love to see snow that covers the ground without grass and leaves sticking up out of it.  So far this year, we've had nothing but a few flakes.  Our biggest problem is too much rain accompanied by flooding!

Snow is pretty when it's falling and nice if you don't have to get out in it.  As for me I'm happy with or without snow since I'm retired I can stay home and off the roads.   :snowman: :snowman: :snowman: :snowman:

My daughter and her husband live in Tucson.  Her Army unit was mobilized recently so she is in El Paso.  I have one of her kids staying with me for the year that she will be gone.  The other 2 are staying in Tucson with their dad and he sent pictures to the one I have, staying with me, of the snow.  They actually made a small snowman so there was quite a bit of snow there.
