President's Day weekend

I'm not exactly sure the point behind this holiday, but sure is nice to have an extra day off...what are you doing this weekend?

Nothing special, we have a tv that needs to be replaced; so hoping to find a good deal this weekend with all the sales.

To honor past and present presidents.  I think they need to just have this and do away with all of the other president's birthdays that stop the country. grrr.

I have no plans. Very glad it's a holiday it snowed last night and still snowing this morning. I don't have to go anywhere.

I worked Saturday (all overtime  ) and am working today...

I agree it is nice to have the day off. It seems this holiday is mostly about the stores having sales on home goods. I actually took advantages of some of the sales myself. I got some new sheets, which can be pricy sometimes.

I don't know of any business around me that have off except for government and banks and the like.
