Most likely I would too unless they kept on or followed me.  OR I would whip out my own phone and start videoing them. lol

If someone was videoing me without my permission, I might call the police. I don't want to end up on God-knows-where on the internet.

If you are in public calling the police is a useless thing.  You have NO EXPECTATION of privacy when you are in public.  Now if they are videoing you on your property you maybe could but if you are outside and they are on their property I don't know that you can then.  A rental place on my street has went thru several tenants and one the police were there quiet often.  The last time there were a couple cars and another neighbor's kid stood in the street and videoed (even though none of it was anything to her) and the police never said a word.

If I was talking to someone and they started recording, I would check myself.  People don't normally record video unless the person they've been talking to has been rude or threatening.

It doesn't even have to be something bad.  I have seen where idiots have videoed and snapped photos and put on Facebook and it went viral and then someone lost their job because they done something to help someone but it was against company policy.  Sad but true but there are companies that will destroy and throw stuff in the trash before they will sell it to a customer at a discount.  And it isn't the local manager's call.  They are just doing their job.

I use to work somewhere that things were like that.  When it was said "pull this off the shelf" we had to do that.  And not only that but destroy it before we put it in a locked dumpster so no one could get it.

You also never know what people are going to do with videos or pictures they take.  But most of the time, in the vindictive wold we live in, the reason behind would not be good.

First - I would not stop and talk with strangers.  But if I was talking with someone I wuld ask them to stop videoing.  If I was alone, I would quickly get somewhere safe and out of view.

Walking away would probably be the best thing to do. But I would whip out my phone and snap a picture lol.  Or start videoing them as well especially if I were not doing anything.
