How many of you wish that at the end of the week you didn't have to sign over your paycheck to a sitter

I don't pay anything in childcare either.  A lot of my money goes to paying for prescriptions and office visits (high deductible).  I've already spent about $6000 in medicals costs this year.

We don't pay for child care. My dh works during the day and I work a measly 4 hour shift a few days a week during the weekdays and an 8 hour shift on Sunday's.

They have to make a living too. Yep, handing over all most all of my money does tend to be a dapper, but this is the way the world goes for now.

:) That is the way the world is now...'Work for pay'. Yes...any type of work. If you do not like paying for childcare or think it is too much...try to find some free childcare. There is still some around.

Alot of the cost comes due to the state laws. You have to have enough employees to cover the caregiver to child ratio.

we don't use childcare anymore, i stay with my son during the weekdays that my hubby works and i only work during the weekends. I used to work full time but i realized it's not worth it. Especially if you work in a low paying job, like mine.

My hubby and I both are stay at home parents so when i go to work, he will be home to watch her.

Sometimes i wish we had someone to watch my daughter so that me and my hubby could go out and enjoy ourselves.

We were only together 4 months before i got pregnant.

I'm finally saving a bit on daycare. I used to pay about $500 a month (and that was to a relative!) - but my daughter is almost four now and in part time preschool so my parents watch her for free a half day and I only pay about $220 a month for her school.

Light at the end of the tunnel to eliminate that cost is only a few years away. LOL
