Do you (or did you used to) read any comics? Do you have a favorite?

Dude...my mother got mad because I joined the Army without her permission (my dad signed for me)
She threw out my Marvel and DC comics I had stashed away....grew up in the 60's/70's...had the Silver era comics and a lot of 10 cent ones from the 50's.
Had Spiderman #1 through #45 and a lot others...I'd be rich right now.... :(

When I was growing up, comics were a really big thing. The kids would trade them after reading. Archie was super popular with girls and Superman was really popular with both boys and girls. My kids, however, never got into comics.

I read the funnies in the Sunday newspaper.  I like the Lockhorns.

I still have a collection of over 10,000 comic books that I collected when I was younger. I occasionally buy new ones here and there but my son is the one collecting now.

I used to collect comic books but since they died down a little, I cut down a lot. I only buy a few a month. I used to get 30-40  a month . I even used to get the mail in offers that were worth more in the long run :)

Mom used to buy us comics when we were kids.  I always liked comics and my younger daughter has always really been into them.

I had a small collection of comics when I was in High School. Most of them were Spider-Man, and included in my collection were Superman, Green Lantern, and X-Men.

I had a huge collection of Nancy and Lulu, then I graduated into the Archie comic books.  I guess my mother threw them out.

In the years past, I loved reading comic books.  I would buy them because they cost mere pennies.  Now they are too expensive to glance at.
