My teacher, Ms. Blakely, was the best. She remembered me years later when we bumped into each other in a casino. I wonder how she's doing.

Honestly I can not remember. Both of my kids were all day.

I didn't go to kindergarten. They were just starting this program when I was a kid. My next door neighbor was enrolled and that bummed me out.

I went to morning Kindergarten. I remember the rug I had for rest time. We always had to wear dresses or skirts....no pants were allowed except to wear under our skirts on cold winter days.

I was an afternoon kindergartener, it was kind of depressing for me back then because my neighbor/bestfriend at the time went in the morning. So did my cousin, so I was all alone to start but I loved the nap time and show and tell. It was so much fun!

Our little town only offered 1/2 day kindergarten at the time. I went in the morning. I was such a Mama's girl though, Mom had to sit with me every day. She became the teachers aid for the entire year just so I wouldn't wale and carry on clutching to her. I had some serious separation anxiety. I tried to pull the same behavior in 1st grade but didn't get away with it. 2nd day of school I was on my own.

My kids went all day as well.

Good point; I think even now kindergarten isn't required in some places.

I know that I was definitely only half days .. I'm thinking it was morning but just don't remember.

My mom saved my nap time blanket. I still have it to this day .. LOL

I went to morning kindergarten. I walked to school with my older brother and then Mom picked me up.
