Memorial Day weekend!

First of all, I appreciate every single person who gave their life to protect this country. That being said. I have been in need of a long weekend. And a local joint is offering free custard on Monday while supplies last.

Always love the holidays especially when it's about thanking & remembering those who served so that we can enjoy the freedoms we often forget we have!

My husband and brother-in-law are military veterans.  My brother-in-law fought in the Vietnam War and saw a number of his friends killed while fighting.  He is blessed to have been able to return home with no major injuries.  Memorial Day is always special to us, we value the sacrifice that our military veterans made for us to help us maintain our freedom.  Also the sacrifice made by our military personnel who are still fighting, military families who strive everyday to take care of everyday problems while their love ones are away doing their military duty. Freedom is something we should cherish and not take for granted.

I rest and play on my computer. Wowhoo, time off. Thank you and thoughtful  for all our people that lost their life for our freedoms wishing  to their loves.

I will be at my gym training for the Spartan race I am running next Saturday in Tuxedo NY on June 2nd. I'm nervous because it's my first one and my body can only endure so much but I will go at my own pace if I have to. Happy Memorial Day to everyone and to all that have served our country.
