Has anyone ever heard of this medical condition named Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension? The medical term is in the subject box. This condition affects your eyesight. It's excess fluid around the brain. I have this condition, and meds can be taken and weight loss necessary. Anyone else heard of this?

Anyone else heard of this?I have not heard of it but am wondering if a doctor has told you that a stent might be necessary to drain the fluid? Are you taking regular blood pressure medication? With weight loss also being part of the treatment, it sounds very similar to regular hypertension. Since the optic nerve goes back to the brain, it seems logical that too much pressure could affect eyesight to one degree or another.
