That's a really good point.

I always wash them as you never know what germs are on them and who tried them on.  I also wash towels, sheets, blankets pretty much anything that is made of fabric.

Sometimes I do - if I have bought it from a consignment shop or Good Will.  New store clothes - I don't always wash first.  Probably should, but am afraid I will do something wrong with it and ruin it.

I don't usually wash new clothes when I buy them.  I probably should because you don't know who has tried them on.

I don't wash them before I wear them, but I know a lot of people do wash them.  I don't know that i'm doing it right.  Maybe I should wash them first, but it's not a huge concern of mine at this time.

It depends on the item. When I buy jeans I do. Dresses and skirts, no.

Always.  I think the only time I didn't was when I bought a pair of pants and a jacket because the temperature suddenly dropped and I was on vacation.  I literally went to the store, bought it, got in my car, and put them on over my cloths.

If it's new, wear first.  If it's second hand, wash first.

If it's right out of the store whether it's second hand or not, I wash it because I never know who handled it before me or if it was tried on.  I'd rather know it was clean before I wear anything.  Even packaged items like underwear and socks I wash.  I just prefer to know it's clean.

Yes I normally prewash new clothes not unless of course it's clothing that needs to be dry cleaned.   :) :) :) :)
