For the first time I got a 1099 from paypal. I had no idea I even made that much.

I had no clue that pay pal even sent out 1099's. that is good to know because I use that site a lot to get paid for the items that I crochet and sell

Yep! I have been on here for a while and only got a 1099 once. It made my last two cashouts not even worth it with the amount of taxes I had to pay. I pay close attention now to my earnings. Last few years I make sure I'm under $600, do surveys on other sites instead.

I have never earned that much from any site to get a 1099.  Just another good reason to spread your time earning free cash over multiple sites.  You can still make good money if you combine the income from all of them but never be over the mark to get a 1099

I have never made that much in one year from any site as well. I have come close but haven't hit that magic number.

The only time I received a 1099 for one of these sites was from WorldWinner. I was surprised by how much it was for. At the time I thought if I redeemed for actually cash I would be dinged. Instead it was for all earnings I made regardless if I actually got the money. Luckily my accountant did some magic where a lot of things became a write-off.

I don't think I make $600 on all the sites that I do combined.

I struggle to get the $25 each month, so no where near the worry threshold for me

Making a $1.64 a day sounds doable, but it has been getting harder and harder to qualify for surveys on here. The paid to click has also gotten difficult too. Soon people may start to move on.

You would have to make on average $1.64 a day from December to November to have reached the $600 and get a tax paper in the mail.

I start at December because of you cash out in December you get your money the next year and would be counted in the next years taxes.

I never have to worry about that.

I don’t think I’ll ever make 50 a month I would have to save up from July to November cash in December and maybe I could do that in a year and a half

With all my reward sites I don't ever make enough money to collect taxes. However, I do have semi part time jobs online that I may have to pay taxes for. It would be nice to make enough money for taxes though.

I have several sites now that I'm in danger of this now....one of them I've cashed-out $95 JUST THIS MONTH.
Last year I was going to go over on another site so I cashed-out up to the $599 mark for the year and then waited nearly 2 months to cash-out in January.
