Leaks in your car?
« on: February 12, 2018, 05:38:35 am »
We've had a lot of rain these past couple of days, and when I went out to my car the floor boards were wet. Has anyone had this experience with their car?...mine is a 2000 Neon

2008 Camry and the water was coming in through the side window while I was driving this weekend.  I ended up bringing a towel to sit on.

I've never had an issue personally with this before.  However my Mom had a Chevy Cavalier back in the 80's.  She drove that thing until the bottom started rusting out - engine ran great but you could see the road if ya lifted the floor mats.  Maybe the seals are worn out around the windows or the door?  Hopefully it's a simple fix for you.

We had water come in around the windshield seal when it rained.  It was an fix at the body shop....new seal around the windshield.

Many years ago I had a car that the floor board had rusted out and my feet would get wet.  But since then, only when I have left the window cracked or down.
Have a wonderful day!
