Problems with coupons at store

Um walmart doesnt take printed out coupons i found this out a couple years ago. Unless its the ones you get in the circular with the ads on sundays or one your scent through a free bee site they wont take them.

Never use printed cpns at Walmart. Same thing happened to me. Use only from the paper if I remember.  There were 5 cpns inserts in the paper yesterday a few I may use.

I've had this happen at both Wal-mart and Kroger.  Wal-mart keyed them in but I was told by a Kroger uscan employee that they aren't suppose to accept internet printed coupons.  Odd as sometimes they had scanned without a glitch and now they aren't.  Several of the coupons are available on the kroger.com site so I could upload them to my card to get the savings... however I was trying to get credit through FC as well.  Turns out to be more frustrating and costly in paper and ink from home since it's not always full proof.

If it's a manufacturer's coupon, they kind of have to take them. If not, go to the self checkout.

Yes I have had the same problem with the online printed coupons .. at Walmart they will usually override and put it in manually.  I have also had to use the hand scanner in the self check out lane to get some of them to work. 

I have, however, had a store that would not accept the coupon.  Kind of annoyed me but it is what it is .. just their store policy.

Some Wal-Marts will do that and other say that if it doesn't scan they can not accept them.  I had a coupon for a Harlequin book that I got out of one that I read.  It would not scan, so they would not take the coupon so I would not buy the book.  My daughter bought some drain cleaner that had a coupon on it and tried to use it and it would not scan either.

Kroger told my husband that he could only use two "printed at home" coupons per visit.  Maybe different stores have different policies.
