I grew up watching him on TV a lot as a kid. That's sad he passed away.

It’s so sad he and Dean Martin never really reconciled after their split.  Just a meeting on his telethon brought about by Frank Sinatra then a phone call several years later when his son passed and he called Dean for being there at the funeral.  It breaks my heart he’s gone now and Hollywood lost another great legend and all that’s left, with the exclusion of a few good ones, are only so-so actors at their best with only basically one-hit movie or only ‘the next big thing’ until the next big actor/actress comes along.  Lewis was among those actor/comedians which spanned decades.  They literally are a dying breed and it’s just heartbreaking they pass one by one to heaven leaving Hollywood more empty than she really ever has been.

He was an interesting individual.  I recently learned that during World War II, Jerry was rejected from military service for having a heart murmur.  He was probably lucky to have lived as long as he did.

Have a great day!

So sad.  The world has lost a true comedian.  He was one of the ones I grew up watching and was so funny.  They don't make comedy shows the way they use to.

I loved Jerry Lewis,,  his movies  always made me laugh.  He was such a great man.  Always watched the Labor Telethons with him and cried when he cried.  Miss The Telethon.  They just don't do like he did.  I don't even know if they did one for this labor day,  so sad :(

The last of the rat pack. Funny guy.

You're so right.  Last of the Hollywood Rat Pack!  Many famous members!  All gone.  I can't believe it because I grew up with them.  Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis, Peter Lawford, and Jerry.  Every once in a while I see something on TV featuring them together or one or two of them.  I really takes me back.  Sad that they have all died now.
