Back when my kids were young, I always hated to see them going back to school.  I loved having them home, but school activities and ballgames, etc. were always fun. Homework was a hassle, but looking back, I miss the whole school routine.

Yes it is time to see them do something more useful instead of doing chores and then X-box. I am loving it and I think my wife is too. Schools help our kids exercise their brains better than X-BOX.
