I heard the fireworks in the distance Saturday night.
I heard them again last night.
It seems people are celebrating this one for 4 days.

yeah we heard some last night...i had to go in the house as i have menieres  disease and they were making my ear hurt

In my area people usually celebrate for 4-5 days and, frankly, I get tired of it,  One night is enough in a neighborhood.  There are babies, dogs, elderly, people who work varied shifts, possible combat veterans with PTSD.  Have some consideration for your neighbor.  It isn't all about you! Go to the country with open fields, parks in designated areas, football fields, what-have-you, but set off fireworks fairly distant from people's homes.

I've been hearing the pops and booms for a week in my area. I do get annoyed by it especially when I am trying to sleep. Gosh, I sound so old lol

In my area there has been illegal fireworks and gun shots since the 2nd week of June. People must not have anything better to do with their time.

After midnight and there are fireworks still going off. Don't people have to work tomorrow.  I know I do.
